Shipping

We offer free ground shipping for specific manufacturers in the 48 continental United States on most orders over $300.00. All orders under $300.00 will be charged a $50.00 shipping and handling fee.

Free shipping does not apply to selected manufacturers, sale items, and oversized or special-order items. We will notify you of the additional charges when the order is received if applicable.

Additional Shipping & Handling Charges always applies to orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous states and to orders shipped via upgraded services (Next Day, 2nd Day, etc.).

Returns

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, it may be returned within 5days of receipt. Product must be in like-new condition having never been installed or modified and showing no signs of wear and be in its original packaging with original sanitary protection. All returns are subject to 25%restocking fee plus all freight charges incurred by Lights & More as well as all return shipping and handling fees.

If the product is refused upon delivery, the standard return policy will not apply. The customer will be responsible for the manufacturer's restocking fee which will be a minimum 50% of the purchase price of the item; as well as both initial and return freight charges.

Return Process

You may return for refund only merchandise paid at regular price within 5 days of your original receipt date. Product must be in like-new condition having never been installed or modified and showing no signs of wear and be in its original packaging with original sanitary protection. All returns are subject to 25% handling & restocking fee plus all freight charges incurred by Lights & More as well as all return shipping and handling fees.

  1. Acquire authorization and instructions: To begin the return process, please call online sales at Lights & More. In most cases we will email you a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number to return product along with return instructions.
  2. Shipping product back: Ship the item to the warehouse address listed on the return authorization. Below are the keys to a successful return:
    • Good Packaging: Re-pack products for return in the original box with original packaging material.
    • Use the return label provided or your own label and write the RGA# exactly as instructed by our staff. Do not write on the box to maintain its like-new condition. Improper labeling may result in the denial of return.
    • Ship & Insure: Next, ship the product to the warehouse address provided using a carrier that will provide both a tracking number as well as a signature that the item was confirmed delivered. Please do not ship USPS because they do not provide these guarantees. If we are unable to confirm delivery of your item, this may result in the denial of a refund.
    • Tracking Number: We recommend using a carrier that will provide you with a return tracking number as this will speed up your return process. Retain your tracking number and email it to the issuing store associate so that we can check on the progress of your return. If you have not received credit within 14 days from the date of delivery to the warehouse, please contact our store and provide us with the tracking number so that we can expedite the credit process for you.
    • You will have 7 days in which to return the product from the date that we receive approval from the manufacturer. After 7 days, the Return Authorization will expire, and no replacements or refunds will be given. In the event that a return becomes damaged on its way back to the return destination, we will inform you via email or phone that the item was received damaged and hold the product for up to 15 days. It is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and instruct us concerning what to do with the damaged product. If we have not received notification or response from the customer within 14 days, the item will be donated or destroyed.
  3. Refunds: Once the returned item has been received and verified to have all original contents and packaging and confirmed to be free of damage, the refund credit process will begin. Customers will be refunded, less the restocking and freight charges, via the same method in which the item was purchased or via check from Lights & More. Refunds via check are typically issued within 14 business days of final approval.

Items returned without the proper RGA# or sent to the wrong warehouse are subject to an automatic 50% restocking fee or complete forfeiture of your refund. If credit is to be given, it will be by store credit only. Please read your return instructions carefully to avoid delays and unnecessary expenses.

Please do not request a charge back from your credit card company during the return process. Due to the time it takes to resolve charge back disputes, it is usually better to be patient and wait for the return process to run its course. If a charge back has been submitted, we will not be able to credit you for your return until the charge back mediation process has been completed. This process can take up to 180 days.

Items Not Eligible for Return, Refund, Exchange or Credit Include:

  • Lay Aways, Discounted Merchandise for any reason or Special Orders, including clearance items, inventory sale items, etc. All are regarded as "Final Sale."
  • Any item that has been assembled, installed (including cut or clipped wires), damaged, modified or used in any way.
  • Any item that is not in resalable condition or without original customer receipt.
  • Any item not accompanied by a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) issued by Lights & More. Any item that is not in the original box with sufficient packaging materials.
  • Large orders: (Orders containing 6 or more of a single item or orders with an invoice total greater than $1,000.00). When ordering large quantities, we suggest ordering a sample for evaluation.
  • Light bulbs, parts, and shades.
  • Merchandise paid at regular price after 5 days.
  • Any item not purchased from Lights & More.
  • Services, shipping & handling charges.

Damaged & Defective Goods Policy

We understand that a product may get damaged in transit or, on occasion, there may be a manufacturer product defect. Rest assured, we will stand by you during this process and make sure we do everything we can to bring it to a satisfying and timely conclusion - at no expense to you. For us to offer this level of service, however, we need a little help from the customer in the form of a detailed product inspection immediately upon delivery and contacting us within 48 hours. This will make things much easier if you decide to return the item.

Warranty

All products sold by Lights & More are covered by the manufacturer's warranty that guarantees only the electrical functioning of the item not to exceed 1 year from the date of purchase and contingent upon the proper testing & installation of the item by a licensed professional. Please note that this warranty does not guarantee the durability of finishes on outdoor products.

Reimbursement for any service necessary to ship and/or remove a defective item and install a replacement is not the responsibility of Lights & More.

Under no circumstances are labor or other costs incurred by the customer or involved parties as a result of product issues or failure reimbursable either by Lights & More or by the respective manufacturer.

Lay Aways and/or Special Orders

Lights & More will hand over the merchandise after paid in full within the next sixty days. The merchandise will be relinquished for resale or shipped back to manufacturer if the buyer cancels in total or partially and/or do not pay in full within sixty days. In that case, Lights & More will retain 100% of the total paid to cover any damages, handling, re-shipping and/or restocking expenses & fees. Lights & More is not responsible for third party delays.
